Privacy Policy

Memo is operated by Gamma Systems Pty Ltd (ABN 52 682 863 690; "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use Memo at document-analyser.com, how we use it, and the rights you have. We act as the data controller. Questions: support@document-analyser.com.

What we collect

• Account data — your Google account identifier and email address, via Firebase Authentication, when you sign in.
• Your content — the documents you upload and the knowledge graph (entities, relationships, embeddings) we derive from them.
• Billing data — if you subscribe, your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and status. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store them.
• Usage and diagnostic data — basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

• To provide the service: store your documents, build and serve your graph, run search and ask.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To provide support, secure the service, and meet legal obligations.

Sub-processors

We use the following processors to run Memo:

• Google Cloud — hosting, document storage, and databases.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payments.
• OpenAI and OpenRouter — to generate embeddings and extract entities/relationships from your documents. Document content is sent to these providers solely to build your graph.
• Supabase — the graph (vector) database.

Legal bases and your choices (GDPR)

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service and billing), on the basis of our legitimate interests (security and improving the service), and with your consent where required. You can object to or withdraw consent at any time.

California privacy (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. California residents may request access to or deletion of their personal information and will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Australian Privacy Act

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. You may ask us to access or correct your information, and you may complain to us or to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Your rights

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information and your uploaded content.
• Export your graph (your content is yours).
• Object to or restrict certain processing.

International transfers

We and our sub-processors may process data outside your country, including outside Australia and the EEA. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards.

Retention

We keep your account and content until you delete them or close your account. Transient upload sessions expire automatically. Backups are cycled on a rolling basis.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you.
